Washington Students Go To College
As part of the Get Ready! Program at Washington, all 7th graders will have a chance to visit college for a day this year. These students are shown visiting Macalester College this fall. Students learned about the different majors offered by the college as well as what it takes to get into college and some ideas on how to pay for college. The students even get to eat lunch in the college cafeteria! Get Ready! college counselors work with Project SUCCESS staff to present college information and meet individually to make college plans with all Washington students. The program is sponsored by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.
