Dates of registration: November 9 through 25
New registration is November 9th through December 10th with emergency or overflow toy shop December 11th through December 22nd.
Times phone is answered: 9 am - 4 pm
The times due vary - November 9th through November 25th is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm but we change to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from November 30th through December 10th and then we change to 9:00 am to 4:30 pm from December 11th through December 22nd. December 23rd we will be open 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for overflow toyshop on a first come first serve basis only. Have them send me an email or call me if they require further clarification.

THANKSGIVING BASKETS: Available through the Union Gospel Mission, 435 E.
University Ave, St. Paul. Participants must register for baskets in person at
the Union Gospel Mission on any of the following dates: October 27th, 28th &
29th and November 3rd, 4th & 5th from 1:00 pm- 7:00 pm. One basket will be
provided per address and applicant must provide photo ID and recent piece of
mail with correct address. For families of 2-5 people, if more than 5 people
in your family, contact Meals on Wheels at  266-4090 or (651) 699-5404.

After School Programs


Girl's LEAP (Life Empowerment Awareness Program) is located through the YWCA. This is a girl's only group for girls ages 7-14yo to make new friends, do some journaling, leadership, and to learn new skills, build self esteem. This program has openings. Girls ages 7-13yo--there is a sliding fee for parents; and girls age 14, it's free.  Program runs Mon-Fri from 2:30-5:30pm. Parents need to arrange for transportation home at 5:30pm. This is where families are paired up with a case manager to help with different needs in the home. Free.

St. Paul Youth Services

Totems -- # 651-275-0441 and speak to social worker, Heidi or intake worker Kathy. Provides in home counseling services to families/youth. Funding comes from other sources/your insurance. No requirements for families. Provide in home services to Ramsey and Washington counties.

This group meets at the Rondo library in St. Paul; 3.  Multi Media Force Group - which meets on Fridays. The kids make videos with an educational theme. Program encourages writing and poetry.

The parents in this group have children with serious emotional/behavioral challenges and they connect with other parents for support and information.
