Student Council Activities of 07-08

Student Council has had a very exciting and active year.

In October, Student Council sponsored a Halloween Dance.
In November, Student Council prepared for the Toys for Teens drive and also sponsored Mix It Up day during lunch.
In December, students prepared for a Winter Toys for Teens fundraiser. 
Homerooms raised money for gifts for families at Washington in
need.  Approximately $800 was raised at Washington.  Three
families benefited from gifts the Student Council purchased and wrapped
with the money raised.

The beginning of semester two began with Spirit week.  Monday was
Twin Day, Tuesday was Mix and Match Day, Wednesday was Crazy Hair day,
Thursday was PJ Day, and Friday was Washington Pride Day. 

In February, Student Council sponsored a Valentine Dance and a Valentine's Day door competition.
