Math Department The Math Department welcomes you to our department webpage. We offer a variety of classes to meet the needs of our students. Seventh graders take Pre-Algebra. Eight graders take Algebra.  Students who have already taken Pre-Algebra prior to middle school will be placed in Algebra in 7th grade and Geometry in 8th grade. Level 1 and Level 2 ELL students take Math in a class designed just for them.  The curriculum we are using is Holt.  Students spend time in the CCC lab where they work on a computer-based self-paced math program. This program allows students a chance to build and maintain their basic math skills. We think the CCC lab has made a significant contribution to our legendary MCA gains of the last few years.
