Washington Technology Magnet has a wide variety of music perforemance classes (4 Bands, 3 Choirs and  Orchestra) for students of all levels of experience and performance abilities. For students who do not wish to participate in Band, Choir or Orchestra, there is Beginning guitar and 2 levels of Music Technology, with our Piano Lab being the envy of many visiting college students, to say nothing of the other Junior and Senior High Schools in the Twin Cities.
     Our philosophy about being part of a technology magnet is that we don't teach technology as a separate course but instead, we use it in every class to teach that subject and to let the students learn more and more quickly, and to explore their talent and potential in ways they could never have imagined.
