The Get Ready program helps prepare students and families with college planning information, academic tutoring and information on career and higher education options. The program is operated under the direction of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and is funded in part by the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Program (GEAR UP) grant.

GEAR UP is a federal grant program of the U.S. Department of Education created to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
