The Get Ready Experience
The Get Ready Program is free and is currently offered to all students in grades 10-12 at Washington Technology Magnet. It is designed to help students reach their highest potential by preparing them for life after high school. Students who take advantage of the opportunities the Get Ready Program provides will experience monthly classroom presentations, individual academic advising sessions, and activities, field trips and tutoring to support and inspire them in a variety of ways.

Free!Every service that Get Ready provides is free to Washington students and families who register to participate in the program at the beginning of the school year. If you have questions regarding the Get Ready Program or anything we provide, please contact your high school Get Ready Counselor.
The Get Ready program helps prepare students and families with college planning information, academic tutoring and information on career and higher education options. The program is operated under the direction of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and is funded in part by the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Program (GEAR UP) grant.
GEAR UP is a federal grant program of the U.S. Department of Education created to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is a cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to postsecondary education.
