| Mathematics |  | Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Brash's Webpage. This is my seventh year at
Washington Technology Magnet. I teach Pre-Algebra and serve as an instructional math coach for the 7th grade math team.
The curriculum taught
uses components from Mathematics - Course 3” published by Holt.
As a math educator, I enjoy creating engaging, challenging,and exciting
work environment for my students by using a variety of teaching styles.
I try to help my students approach various math topics in a variety of
ways. My goal is to help them find the connections of math to their own
personal lives.
Communication is very important to me. I feel students’ success directly relates to
the communication parents and teachers have and the involvement of the
parents. A good learning experience is built on cooperative effort
among parent, child, and
teacher. I want parents to feel comfortable
asking questions and addressing concerns. If there are any questions
regarding the math work or anything regarding the class, I am available
before and after school to help or answer questions.
I am looking
forward to a successful year for all of our students. I am excited
about the progress our students will make through the school year. Any
