| Algebra 8 |  | Hello, I am Mr. Ward. Gene not Alex he teaches English. This is my third year teaching math at Washington and I am very excited to be here. I enjoy helping my students become life-long learners and lovers of math. My goal is to help students discover relevance and connections to previous math courses. I use a variety of strategies to reach student's learning styles. The use of technology (Smartboard, CCC lab, Accelerated Math, videos) engages students and creates a media-rich environment which they are use to.
