Hello students!
Iam Mr. Jordheim. I am the seventh grade Human Biology teacher at WashingtonTechnology Magnet School. At Washington Technology, students study thehuman body systems at the same time they learn about health concepts. For example, when students learn about fitness, they also learn aboutthe musculoskeletal system. When students learn about nutrition, theyinvestigate the digestive and circulatory systems, and when they learnabout tobacco and alcohol, their learning is paired with informationabout the respiratory and nervous systems. This integrated curricularapproach, which combines contemporary health topics with an in-depthlook at human body systems, provides a comprehensive learningopportunity for students, which in turn will provide them with a strongeducational foundation. class is a required "signature" BioSMART class at Washington Technology Magnet School.
