Ms. Grant has been in the Social Work profession for 22 years. This is Ms. Grant's eighth year in the St. Paul Public School district and seventh year at Washington.
Ms. Grant's office is Room 1025. Students may request to see Ms. Grant  any time, but must have a pass from their teacher. Students check in to see Ms. Grant in Room 1026.

Ms. Grant is available to assist students and families that are experiencing homelessness, as well as any personal, emotional or behavioral concerns. Referral information to community resources is always available to assist students and families.  There is also a Student and Family Resources list for your viewing in the For Washington Students and Families section of the Washington website.

Ms. Grant is also responsible for the Attendance program at Washington Technology Magnet. Ms. Grant, along with Mr. Xiong and Mr. Robinson Attendance Liaisons, work to ensure that all students are attending school in accordance with Minnesota State law.
Ms. Grant is available to assist students and their families in identifying the barriers that are interfering with students attendance and work to improve students attendance so they can be successful.  Students may be referred to the TIP(Truancy Intervention Program) and the Ramsey County Attorney's Office, if attendance patterns don't improve.
