Welcome to the Washington English Department
Our goal is to provide all students strategies for
improving their reading and writing skills. We also want all of
our students to think creatively and independently through the use of
literature and creative writing.
All of us use writer's notebooks extensively. We also use reading logs to grade our students on excelerated reader.
