"Welcome to another Get Ready and Project Success, Project Success and Get Ready day! Today, we'll be talking about dreams! We'll be talking about goals!! We'll be talking about college and we'll be talking about YOUR futures!!!" That's how each classroom workshop kicks off, and the excitement only grows from there!
The Get Ready staff at Washington Middle School work closely with Dr. McCollor, your child's social studies teachers and Project Success staff to give monthly classroom presentations. At Washington, Get Ready and Project Success are partners in helping students learn more about goal setting, career awareness, college awareness, college financial aid awareness, money management, working cooperatively with others and more. The goal of each classroom workshop is to get students to seriously think about their futures and how they can start planning for it today.
