Algebra 8
I have a co-teaching relationship with the Math department. Every day I teach 8th grade Algebra with Ms. Tina Allen during periods 4/9. The class is made up of 32 students, 9 of whom are IEP students on my caseload. Direct instruction duties are shared by both teachers, and we work together to accommodate assignments from students with IEPs:

--Extra time on tests
--Small group pull-out instruction
--Modified assignments
--Shortened assignments
--Differentiated presentation of instruction

Concepts introduced in Algebra class are re-taught and reinforced in Study Skills class. New concepts are also pre-taught to maximize student exposure to the material.
