The Next Generation of Scientists and Engineers
On May 29, Washington students participated in the Minnesota Public Radio "Girls in Science and Engineering Day" at the MPR studios in Saint Paul. The girls had the chance to experience first-hand all of the technology that goes into producing radio programming. They got to meet some of the engineers that work at MPR and had the chance to see shows actually being produced. Our Media Specialist Mary Ann Rentas accompanied the girls on the trip.
